The MV19 represents the natural evolution from the MV13 and has been designed by Francesco Paszkowski together with Baglietto, whose technical office was responsible for the hull, engine and propulsion designs.

The MV series draws its inspiration from the First and Second World War MAS crafts, paying tribute to the military crafts that made the successful history of the Liguria based yachting brand by reinterpreting some of their peculiar features and shapes in a modern style.
